Black: if you'd like to share that is Black: i can't find getron Red: well...radiohead's "bulletproof..i wish i was" Red: "arizona" by pedro the lion Red: "anyone else but you" the moldy peaches Red: its a fairly short mix CD Red: 12 songs, 40 minutes Black: well but a cd with a message Black: so short is good Red: yeah Black: it's amazing how life works. each moment seems to just open up and branch out to all the others Red: indeed Black: here's the thing... there might very well be someone out there who... let's say he has a girl. Black: a girl that he loves.. Black: and..... hasn't told her Red: why? Black: not sure Black: maybe people are afraid of the part of love they don't know Black: and since love is always kind of new. Black: there's a lot that's unknown Black: just a guess Red: heh :/ Red: i'm scared Black: but here's the thing.. Black: love and fear don't mix too well Black: that's what i heard.. Black: like oil and water... Black: or spam and mixed cds Black: when there's one the other disappears - or hides Red: hah, spam and mix CDs...i bet he'd like it if i gave him some spam with my mix CD Red: thats hard to do though Black: thinly sliced perhaps? Red: how can you just...tell someone you love them? Black: you could fit some in a jewel case Red: probably not, he eats a lot Black: oh Black: maybe ..... Black: it could be easy Red: how? Black: i once showed my girlfriend a painting in the art museum Black: it was a love painting Red: is that how you told her? Black: i said ' do you like love?' Black: then brought her over to see the painting Black: maybe handwrite the tracks.. Black: on the cd - Black: then there's no mistaking it Red: oh, i wasnt even going to give him the tracks Red: i was going to put a number Black: ah Red: adn write why the song is on there Red: or a line from the song Red: i want him to know the songs mean something to me Black: perfect! Red: and i want them to mean something to him too Black: if only the artists who wrote those songs could hear that Black: i'm guessing they'd feel a real sense of honor Red: i would hope so Red: :] Black: to have what they put out there in the world put to such good use Red: and the fact that they can write it Black: yes indeed Black: that comes from the good place Red: mhm Black: music Red: i love music Black: what's a blog supposed to be about anyway - i'm new to this Black: i mean i've been talking quite a while.. Black: but blogs - nope that's new Red: well, i have a livejournal...i usually dont write in it. but i guess theyre just to write your thoughts Red: or type, i guess Black: livejournals are bloggy right? Black: i guess that's what they were called before blogs Black: it's private - but also public Red: yeah Black: privlic kind of Black: we need a new word for it Red: hmmm Red: i dont know Black: i know Black: i know that i don't know Black: but someone out there might Red: yeah Red: haha Red: maybe Black: and that's kind of why this is a good thing Red: haha Black: we know the love is out there
