Black: drawings!! Black: im getting ready for a bunch of studio visits Black: the big art fairs were this past week and i did very well.. lots of people coming by to look at the new work in the coming weeks Black: so yes i have to finish some new things - frame some others Red: cool stuff Black: --yes i'll be using some nice green post-its for tomorrow's drawings Black: this week has really just been incredible Red: festive! Red: oh? what are you up to? Black: hey you're done with the testing! Black: nice Black: how's that feel? Black: well last friday my friend paul d miller dj spooky played a great set at the guggenheim Black: a big party to celebrate the annual armory art fair Black: tuesday was my girlfriend's film premiere and party Black: she just worked on this one -she didn't produce it Black: its a sidney lumet film with vin diesel called find me guilty Red: awesome! Black: tonight of course was st. patrick mcmullan's annual st. patrick throwdown Black: everything from bagpipes to dancing shower girls to danny boy and men in stilts Red: lol awesome Black: hehe Black: yes Black: so you're doing spring break... 'spring' break - in a winter coat ya? Red: haha, yes! Black: nice! Black: see that's what mtv needs - more thick wool scarves during spring break Red: lol and less skin Black: haha Black: ski not skin for spring break Red: yes lol Black: la let's make a green painting! Red: right now? Black: i just got together with a curator friend today and i was trying to describe what the paintings are for her but.. Black: yes Black: how about it? Black: a small one shall we say Black: a fifteen minute green painting Red: sure! Black: alirhgt let the green flow freely Black: see these aren't interviews right? Black: i think of them as word jazz Black: clutch the clutch moment Red: like be-bop? Black: be bop and he bop and she bop Black: and we bop Red: la de da daa Black: la Black: oh definitatly not an interview here Black: i even just mis-spelled Black: that's a new shape now Red: hehe Red: i was improving! Black: a skywriter painting writing in the sky Red: i'll think we should be in the sky Black: wide leaf green sky Black: one thing i like to do on this particular day -this being st. patrick mcmullan day is this Black: green Black: a new color to celebrate in the red and black world Red: yes! green Black: to paint the green of the earth- that's a good thing Black: ok your brush - what in the earth will you paint? Red: i'll paint the water blue Red: so it looks clean again Black: i mean we can put anything here really Black: yes clean blue sky reflecting life water Black: you know i read somewhere that our bodies are 100 percent water Black: actual figures may vary Red: lol Red: it's like, 75% Black: a tree also? Black: you know what would be nice? Red: fresh air? Black: if these words could be that air Black: and those ones too Black: your words i like better because the word fresh is before air Red: hehe Black: yes fresh air Black: like a window opened Red: you can breathe it in! Red: and it's sweet Black: the kind that tickles leaves Black: this painting casts a shadow of green on the wall around it Red: like kryptonite Red: Black: oh we're almost at the bottom Black: a sun!
