Black: i like to think of these things as small talk Black: so what's on your mind today? Red: that's they way i viewed them. Red: eating pizza soon. Red: haha Black: had some last night with my friend Red: yeah Black: it was good - thin crusts and we got to talk about life, love and art and friends Red: that's great, i need someone to discuss that too. Black: what makes a friend? Red: someone who is always unconditional and forgiving and there for you. Black: a listener you might say Red: yeah, maybe that's what i need. Red: and understanding too. Black: let's make a story of two friends Black: two people Black: what should we name them and who should they be? Red: jack and cloey Black: nice Red: yep Black: so is jack the one who listens to cloey or is it the other way around? Red: jack listens. Black: what does cloey say? Black: does she talk about the weather? Red: nah, that's boring. Black: motorcycle racing? Red: maybe about philosophy? Black: a frog named biny Black: ah yes Black: a good subjecct Red: haha Black: hahah Black: i wonder if the people who see this painting when its done will laugh at that part Red: haha, maybe. Black: are jack and cloey kissing philosophy friends or just philosophy friends? Red: kissing only on the cheek philosophy friends. Black: both cheeks like we do here in ny? Red: haha i always wanted to have a friend to do that with. Black: that's what i think you need for summer Black: a two kisses on two cheeks friend Red: i wish. Red: i always wish, i'd even pray sometimes. Black: can you express that desire in your clothes? Red: i wouldn't know how? Black: i met some young designers last night Black: one was talking to me about layers Black: one thing on top of another thing Black: and how that changed meanings of things Black: true - clothing can tease us about what the wearer might be thinking and how they are.... but we can't really know until we walk over and say hello Red: haha, i can explain my clothing and maybe that would interpret how i feel? Black: yes - i think that might work Black: what kind of clothing are you making these days? Red: cut off the pant part of the jeans then add material onto them Red: to make a skirt. Black: nice! Black: you're connecting the legs Red: nah, the legs are thrown away. Black: who wears the pants really if the pants are a skirt? Black: hahah Red: haha Red: i make purses out of the left over pant material. Black: so you make clothing mostly for women? Red: yeah, haven't really gotten into it enough to make anything especially for men Red: but i tryed to make my bf a shirt and it ended up being way girly Black: hmmmmm do you still have it? Red: yeah i wore it lastnight Black: maybe you could staple some leather on it or something? Red: haha, nah, i'm not a leather person. Black: or add a football team logo? Red: nah, def. not into that. Red: i like um fabric markers too Black: so your clothing expresses..... you Red: i wanna draw cool stuff on the shirts. Black: as well as the wearer Red: yeah, i guess it would have to, Red: i didn't really think i would end up making clothing for other people. Black: for a while i was doing henna tattoos Black: that was fun Red: really? Red: hehe Black: yes Black: it goes on kind of black... Black: and then when it dries it turns reddish Black: so it was perfect for me Red: yeah i always thought they looked cool, Black: i would make the drawing with the other person too Black: on paper first Black: with red and black markers Red: that'd be cool. Black: and then the whole design is what i would apply with the henna Black: so you couldn't tell anymore which part i did and which part they did Black: so what would you like to express to the people looking at this that you might not have had the chance to yet Black: i think we're somewhere near the bottom of the painting Red: um, that i'm obviously not good of thinking of stuff to express myself, i always have a really hard time finding a hobbie, but i found sewing and that's all i can think of
