Mixed

Black: yeah! kerry! Red: hey Black: :-) Black: hi Red: how are you? Black: just felt i'd greet you tonight with extra enthusiasm Black: hehe i'm good Black: just met up with a collector friend Black: and he's going to host my next salon at his apt Black: kerry let's blog Red: how fun Red: blog? Black: yes Black: i started one Red: i see Black: kind of like a painting journal Red: oh Red: is it on your website? Black: a loose conversational sketchbooky kind of thing Black: no not linked yet Red: i see. Red: my boyfriend is movnig saturday Black: i'm still playing with it Black: that's big news Red: it sucks a lot Black: sorry to hear that kerry Black: how are you two handling it? Red: so am i Red: he's handling it Red: i'm not Black: you've put it off - out of your head Black: like that? Red: no Red: i'm not handling it at all Red: not well Black: ah Red: i cant keep myself from crying Black: love hurts Black: it really does Red: :/ Black: there's a lot of pain in it - i think that's what makes it that way sometimes Red: i've never even told him i love him Black: it's a unique pain Red: i think about it a lot though Black: do you? Red: yeah Red: a lot Black: i know what you mean Red: but i feel like i'm not alllowed to feel it or say it Black: i think he probably knows though Red: because he wont feel it back Red: how? Black: love has a funny way of being shown Black: i think it just comes out Black: whether or not it has a word wrapper on it Red: heh :/ Black: :-) Red: but i'm making him a mix cd Black: see that's love right there Black: mixing it with good stuff? Red: wait i'm not done! Black: haha Black: alright Black: kerry this needs to be a painting i think Black: i mean it could be if you agree Black: as soon as you mentioned mixed cd i knew Red: one of the songs says "she loves you she needs you she loves you so why dont you tell her you want her you need her too she's waiting and waiting for you so pick up that phone and give her that call tell her you love her and thats all" Black: hah Red: it's by a band called getron. Black: wow Red: he better call me and tell me he loves me! Black: yes indeed Black: that's a clear clear signal from his girl for sure! Red: i can always be sad. i usually do that anyway. Black: what's the song called? Red: oh heck yes it is Red: its called "just tell her" Black: hah Black: nice Red: yeah Black: what a great idea for a song Black: everybody with a girl can use that one Red: it is. Black: and so can the people who are girls Red: haha, yeah :] Black: nice! Red: but i was trying all day to find ONE song to put on it Red: and i couldnt find it anywhere Red: i failed completely! Black: now is that the one? Black: oh another song? Red: the song was really important to me Red: yeah Red: a different one Black: what one is that? Red: "walk in a straight line" by a band called +/- Black: +/- Black: what's that equal? Red: i guess it equals plusminus Black: haha nice Red: which doesnt make a whole lot of sense Black: alright we found 'just tell her jim said hello' Red: but its okay i guess Red: haha Red: :] Black: oh and there's billy joel - tell her about it Black: closely related lyrically there Black: tell her tonight Black: that's another one Black: this is a big idea here telling you girl........ Red: yeah....no franz ferdinand or billy joel for me Red: thanks Red: i just put songs that are important and mean things to me when i make mix cds Red: its a whole thought process Black: like making a song poem Red: oh man Red: that would be hard Black: but sometimes things just happen to flow one into the next Red: thats true Red: i want to try that someday Black: then before you know it you have a cd - or a painting.. or a Black: spam sandwich even Red: haha...grosss. there's a place by my house that makes spam sushi Black: wow Black: spushi Red: they should call it that Black: hhahah Black: what else is on the cd? Black: if you'd like to share that is Black: i can't find getron Red: well...radiohead's "bulletproof..i wish i was" Red: "arizona" by pedro the lion Red: "anyone else but you" the moldy peaches Red: its a fairly short mix CD Red: 12 songs, 40 minutes Black: well but a cd with a message Black: so short is good Red: yeah Black: it's amazing how life works. each moment seems to just open up and branch out to all the others Red: indeed Black: here's the thing... there might very well be someone out there who... let's say he has a girl. Black: a girl that he loves.. Black: and..... hasn't told her Red: why? Black: not sure Black: maybe people are afraid of the part of love they don't know Black: and since love is always kind of new. Black: there's a lot that's unknown Black: just a guess Red: heh :/ Red: i'm scared Black: but here's the thing.. Black: love and fear don't mix too well Black: that's what i heard.. Black: like oil and water... Black: or spam and mixed cds Black: when there's one the other disappears - or hides Red: hah, spam and mix CDs...i bet he'd like it if i gave him some spam with my mix CD Red: thats hard to do though Black: thinly sliced perhaps? Red: how can you just...tell someone you love them? Black: you could fit some in a jewel case Red: probably not, he eats a lot Black: oh Black: maybe ..... Black: it could be easy Red: how? Black: i once showed my girlfriend a painting in the art museum Black: it was a love painting Red: is that how you told her? Black: i said ' do you like love?' Black: then brought her over to see the painting Black: maybe handwrite the tracks.. Black: on the cd - Black: then there's no mistaking it Red: oh, i wasnt even going to give him the tracks Red: i was going to put a number Black: ah Red: adn write why the song is on there Red: or a line from the song Red: i want him to know the songs mean something to me Black: perfect! Red: and i want them to mean something to him too Black: if only the artists who wrote those songs could hear that Black: i'm guessing they'd feel a real sense of honor Red: i would hope so Red: :] Black: to have what they put out there in the world put to such good use Red: and the fact that they can write it Black: yes indeed Black: that comes from the good place Red: mhm Black: music Red: i love music Black: what's a blog supposed to be about anyway - i'm new to this Black: i mean i've been talking quite a while.. Black: but blogs - nope that's new Red: well, i have a livejournal...i usually dont write in it. but i guess theyre just to write your thoughts Red: or type, i guess Black: livejournals are bloggy right? Black: i guess that's what they were called before blogs Black: it's private - but also public Red: yeah Black: privlic kind of Black: we need a new word for it Red: hmmm Red: i dont know Black: i know Black: i know that i don't know Black: but someone out there might Red: yeah Red: haha Red: maybe Black: and that's kind of why this is a good thing Red: haha Black: we know the love is out there

Red: it was alright, i went to two of my classes and ditched the other two, but only bc i'm almost sure i'll drop those classes by the end of this week. then i had work which sucked bc we stayed late but eh, it's over now. and now i'm talking to tom! how was your day tom? Black: wow Black: it was nice Black: we just about finished up this armani job. weekend's ahead Black: lots to do like walking in the park Black: this is already a better post than last night because your computer didn't crash Black: how's the computer tonight? Red: so far it's fine hehe Black: nice - all the keys in the same place? Red: uhh....yes? i dunno what that means hehe Black: on your keyboard Black: after the crash the keyboard is still alright ? Red: oh haha yeah Black: hah Black: and what's your mission for the world? Black: i'm learing how to make shorter blog posts - those last two - damn - they're long Red: haha Red: my mission is yet to be discovered Black: nice Black: i like that idea Black: tha's a good blog post Black: i think it's possible to say a lot with a little Red: haha me too Black: :-) you just proved it Black: excellent! Red: so yer just gonna use "what's your mission in life" "my mission is yet to be discovered" ? hehe Black: haha yes Red: cool! Red: cuz i think that was the best and more meaningful part of our conversation haha Red: the rest was just blabbering Black: yes meaning is good to have Red: my part anyway Black: what's some good music i could hear? Black: i need some new sounds Black: oh by the way i loved your post Black: no let's go back to blogland for a moment Red: u went to my site?! Red: =) Black: the part about - yes! Red: oh haah sorry go on Black: everybody's life - when you look into it... if we just take the time to be curious - everyone's life is rich - a movie - a book Black: it's a very pro human idea Black: i liked it alot Black: well i still do Black: haha Red: ah yes, wow thank you for noticing hehe Black: sure thing Black: you were really talking the good stuff there Red: :-Dsee only someone mature like you would notice haha Black: hah thanks Black: can other people see it too? Red: yeah anyone who happens to find it Black: in the whole world wide web..... a search for .... great people movie is a life idea Black: google right? Black: :-) Red: haha yeah maybe Black: here's one! Black: "life is a movie starring you" by jennifur somebody Black: http://www.twbookmark.com/books/21/0446676330/ Black: it's about cat's and kittens and...... hmm that's not it Black: tha's not your blog at all Red: lol Black: hmm the search goes on Black: how about 'gina b philosophy of good things everyone's life is a movie' Black: let's see Black: we'll find it somewhere so people can see what we're talking about here Black: ;-) Black: here's a page! Black: nope - it's in japanese Red: well people who have xanga can find my page easily Black: ah! we're getting closer Black: xango movie life gina good things Black: let's try that search Black: i just know we'll find it before this blog post ends Red: haha Black: i found xango juice! Red: what? hahah Black: her'es what it says: 'Hi all, To Amy in Ohio: I got a letter like that as well. I wrote them back and asked them what was in this miracle cure. They replied that it was called, Xango juice!' Black: but still that's not quite your blog Black: but miracle cures are good to find - there's no disputing that Red: haha nope Black: hah Black: haha here we are - Black: http://tomversations.blogspot.com/ Red: sorry got kicekd off haha Red: i just read the post though, u used the whole conversation! hehe Black: hahah Black: just like last night Black: i was hoping to get a link to that post in it - if you want we can do it Black: it's a fun dialogue Red: wait do what? Black: i didn't want to post all of that and then not have the link to your words Black: your xanga post Red: oooohhh! Black: haha you didn't know? Red: know what? i'm confused hehe. all i read was what we just talked about today then i got kicked off Black: that's what the whole search was about - the whole 'everyone's life is movie good stuff gina blog' search Black: is your blog for everybody or just friends of yours? Red: oh i could have just given it to you haha. i thought u were just searching for it for fun... woops Black: i think some people keep theirs private like a diary right? Black: hahah Red: yeah some people do but mine is public Black: after checking through thousands of google pages we're....... Black: pssss what's the url? Red: OH! Red: www.xanga.com/roselily Black: yes! Red: yay! haha Black: ah so simple Black: our search ends on a lilypad Red: a lilylad with a rose on top hehe Black: perfect Red: lilypad* Black: yes good - lilylads might not float as well Red: haha Black: it's a good thing they also come in pads Red: yeah, i think lilypads are pretty. oh wow the previous posts on your site are so much longer than the one with me haah Black: haha yes Red: are u going to keep it that way or are you going to make red: red Red: ? Black: hmm what do you think? Black: i was asking myself that today in fact Black: are they paintings? Black: it is more like a sketchbook in pencil Red: ohhhhh i seee Black: you know pencils are usually just. pencil colored Black: what's your though? Red: yeah it's fine, i just find it a little hard to tell who says what Black: yes i agree Black: that's where red and black really helps Red: but sometimes sketchbooks are filled with undeveloped images n such, so maybe it's supposed to be hard to tell where things go n who says what n all hehe Black: hmm Black: interesting Black: have you seen that book of picasso's sketchbooks? Black: it's an amazing book - his whole life shown with reproductions of his sketchbook pages Red: no i haven't, cool a conversation with gina b

sancho

Black: hi so called hows your night? Red: hi Red: it's vapid Black: hi back at ya Red: who are you Black: oh sorry about the vipidity Black: im good Black: mine was a good one i'd say Red: 'who' are you Black: i'm tom Red: tom who Black: i'm this artist who see conversation as art Red: bah Black: which mean i tend to do a lot of talking and iming Red: where did you come from Black: i like bah - that's the sheep sound right? Black: the usual - my mom met my dad.... Black: that all took place in philadelphia Black: how about you? Red: nah, it's just a general mode of exasperation Red: was it through the journal? Red: that must have been it Black: what's the journal? Red: or maybe friendster Red: or orkut Black: oh yes one of those things Red: three possibilities Black: these days what happens a lot is someone will say 'hey you should talk to this person' so yes somewhere in that whole process.. Black: salon.com maybe? Red: bah Red: I don't have a profile there any more Black: i like the bah thing - that can be your thing Red: ok Red: that's my thing then Black: excellent Black: i knew the night wasn't quite over Red: it might be Red: tut tut Red: you never know Red: let me see your profile Red: are you up to standard? Black: i have my salons at the hollywood standard - does that count? Red: too much mystery Black: http://www.samplesize.ca/writingArtOtinoSchreiber.html Red: mystery is passe Red: haha Black: mystery is the new black! Black: hah Red: is that the buster keaton face Black: i think that's really more of what the photographer wanted Black: haha - i was - that's really i was quite surprised when i first saw it Red: it's a good look Black: thansk i appreciate it Red: so in conversations, you usually type more Red: you're a "worker" Black: hmm interesting Black: a scribe Red: someone once told me that means that the other person is not interested in you Black: actually most of the paintings now are spoken Black: face to face Red: but he was being "cynical" Red: that's for the best Red: chat died in 1999 Black: typing means not interested you mean? Black: yipes! Red: no, the person typing less is disinterested Black: ah - yes you get that a lot on im Black: someone will say: Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Black: and the person will then just ssay Black: 'ok' Black: hah yes it's an artifact of im Red: I'm a straight shooter, most of the time Red: so I need less space to say what I want to say Red: (usually) Black: that's precision Red: what's the picture with the naked mattress on the floor about Black: i have a friend who is an - what's that? Black: naked mattress Black: in that article you mean? Red: ! Red: no no Red: http://www.samplesize.ca/snapshots2.html Black: oh let me see Red: I want a buster keaton portrait Red: do you think the wal-mart photo studio could hook me up Black: oh i don't know i've never seen that Red: ok Red: I guess that's not your site Black: but you're right - it kind of looks like a matress just sitting there Black: no it's an art site from toronto Red: oh ok, I hate reading Black: that was the first thing i did with them was that interview Red: I like pictures Black: me too Black: pictures have colors Red: how weird Black: and shapes Black: lines and textures Black: all good stuff Red: I have been listening to bohemian rhapsody Red: that's so wrong Black: that's queen right Black: mama mia Red: right, but sooo wrong Black: et al Black: i like wrong things sometimes Black: wow this is kind of fun Black: wrong Black: gronw Black: grown Black: a little flip flopping leads to growth Black: nice Red: so you ask people to draw doodles Black: pretty much Red: good gawd Black: although i never saw draw Black: it's more about having a conversation without words Red: I need words Black: just like going for it with the markers Black: yes well now i do too Black: words followed up the drawings Red: doodles would work in italy Black: they're easy ways to get things done - to get things expressed Black: nice Black: the - village voice called me that - the only time i was in the paper Black: doodle artist Black: haha Black: i guess it fits Black: but why italy? Red: doodle is a good word Black: lots of doodle guys there? Red: italy is perfect because it is friendly Red: I see italy as 'friendly' Black: nice - i want to go Red: doodling is all the rage Black: italy friendly lee Black: really - people sharing them? Red: yes Black: that's what was most exciting about that for me Red: everyone doodles Black: not knowing where it was going to go Black: wow great Red: you have started a revolution Black: youve spent some time there it would seem Red: instead of the motorcycle diaries.... Red: there will be Black: the doodlelution! Red: the marker diaries Black: nice! Black: i had a huffy as a kid Red: I don't remember my bike Black: i'm guessing you're.................. daria? Red: Aria Black: oh Black: music Red: so-called Aria Black: i see Red: whoosh Black: light! Red: the tunnel of light Red: where do you live Black: i'm a nyer Black: you? Red: why did you want to say hi Black: it's fun Red: I want the backstory Black: the baby story stuff? Red: nuh uh Red: what lead you to Aria Red: I was addicted to salon personals for a while Black: you probably had something that i found interesting to say in something - or i could have just liked the so called kind of name Black: favorite place you'd rather be Black: yes all those questions Black: haha Black: it's a world of text Black: meeting mating text Red: odd Black: yes but somehow real too Black: haha i mean that's now the world Black: what broke your addiction? Red: I was kicked off Black: betty ford salon? Black: oh why? Red: I put my aol id in my headline too much Red: so they cancelled my account Red: it wasn't going anywhere, of course Black: did it go to the court of higher appeals? Red: no, it was more of a toilet, I suppose Black: of bits and bytes Red: basically Red: I cleaned my toilet today Red: my bathroom got a complete overhaul Black: have you resurected yourself in the online world yet? Black: nice mine too Black: but last week Red: no, I am sort of down on the internet Red: I've been reading books mostly Black: those bound things right? Red: I listen to Vikki Carr and Billy Idol sometimes Red: do you have an accent Black: when did billy - oh it was generation Black: no i had a philadelphia accent but i worked hard and lost it shortly after moving to ny Black: generation x that's it Red: what did it become Red: I want a greater range of accents Black: new york emigree Red: I just sound southern Black: i was out with a german artist friend tonight Black: so he had a german accent Red: german accents are so fun Black: and his girlfirned is japanese Black: so her was japanese Red: I think I could only handle one accent at a time Black: and then some french people were there too with their accents Black: so it was accent stew Black: oh southern is nice Red: I guess Black: i have a southern singer friend Black: she called on my birthday and i asked her to sing happy birthday for me hahah it was great Red: I like when people sing on the phone Black: so like kentucky? that kind of accent? Red: it makes me feel normal Red: I'm not sure what region Red: I'm "from" Tennessee Black: lots of double letters in that one Black: i like it Black: they should have just gone with tteenneessee Red: nah Red: that's too over the top Black: teenneessee? Black: no the over 20 crowd might revolt Red: maybe... Black: wha's the most tennessee thing about tennessee that you can think of? Red: UT Vols baseball caps Black: they have those in every size? Red: yes Red: even elephant man size Black: nice Black: although he was kind of small right? Red: his head was huge Red: so he would need a big cap Black: is that like that cher movie? Black: the mask? Red: basically Black: well that would be a big hat for sure Red: for sure! Black: i wonder where the world's biggest hat is? Red: iowa Red: or texas Black: hah Black: well those british royal guards have big hats Black: the big fluffy ones Black: and bishops too Red: I bet those itch Black: medieval popes - now those are some big hats Black: put flava to shame Red: flava flav syndrome Black: so who invented talking by typing Black: probably some genius somewhere Red: some social retard Black: i'd imagine they must have a collection of big hats Black: it's definately a different way of looking at the world Black: imagine this in the 19th century Red: no, they wear studded leather everything Black: selling that concept Red: do you have a blog Black: funny you should ask hahah Black: i just got one off the ground Black: it's................... Red: I try... Red: but it never really keeps my attention Black: http://tomversations.blogspot.com Black: what's yours? Red: http://underlying-truth.blogspot.com Black: ah a fellow blogspotter Black: and the same template! Black: well almost Black: nice Black: when did you start yours? Black: ah i see december Red: I had another one before that Red: but I deleted it Black: oh this one has only 3 entries on it! Red: yes Black: tha's only 2 more that mine i believe Red: dedication Black: in full force Red: you're slacking off Black: i started last night! Red: likely story Black: alrigh let's do another one then i'll be caught up Black: you be red Black: ready? Black: hi this is my second or third blog post Red: I feel put on the spot Red: is this off the record Black: yes me too Black: yes Red: *spirit fingers* Black: you're good with word phrases Red: I like to listen to billy idol and do spirit fingers Red: I have no affiliation with any cheerleader organizations Black: what do spirit fingers say? Black: no pom poms anywhere in the house? Red: they say "spirit" Black: spritey fingers they Red: do you like to dance Black: very much so Black: dancing is painting in space Black: with other people Red: I am very random when I dance Black: me too Red: I think I follow the beat Black: let the beat follow you Black: that's what i say Red: what is your opinion on belching Black: they're conversation starters Black: at least they have been Black: belching is the new chat Red: belching is one of the perks of solitude Black: nicely put Black: we should blog this Red: ok Black: this is one of those nice conversations where we Red: blog it Black: yes Black: good Black: i've never used that verb before Black: blog this Red: it was inane enough Black: would make a good shirt Black: yes i like inane Red: me too Red: too much depth bores me Black: i try to get at least 67% inanity in my paintings Black: and the rest is depth Red: right Red: how old are you Black: 34 Black: how about you? Red: 24 Red: you're my senior Black: yes yes i am Red: senior level management Black: good glad i know that now Red: pocket protector Black: now i can act all seniory Red: pit stains Red: o my Black: stacks of papers Red: doodles Black: we always come back to doodles Red: there must be balance Black: oodles of balance Black: do you have a favorite aria? Red: no Red: I never listen to opera Red: I tried the maria callas thing Black: mine would probably be by maria callas Red: and she is pretty in pictures Black: oh very Red: I love her eyebrows Black: i wish i could've made her portrait Black: yes the beautiful kind Red: I have big eyebrows too Black: nice Red: have you seen my pictures Black: to paint them you'd use a brush like... no Black: i don't think i have Red: cool Red: then our relationship isn't completely superficial Red: that's such a comfort Black: yes see that's the thing - type is depth Black: pictures always get the short shrift - as important as they are Red: there are pictures here Black: it's the words that have meaning Red: http://profiles.yahoo.com/patented_bimbo Black: nice i like bimbos Red: or maybe it's photos Red: http://photos.yahoo.com/patented_bimbo Red: me too Red: especially patented ones Black: yes i have much respect for people who can secure patents Black: pretty Black: and you like picasso's olga too Black: nice Red: aria's webcam days Black: are pictures still worth 1000 words since the euro came about?
