Red: cherry fabulousness Black: yes now that's a summer red Red: goes well with picnic baskets Red: so does the painting begin at the first red moment? Black: alright so this willl be our short little tiny painting to hopefully bring our viewer something of what we've been building with words here tonight Black: yes Black: i'm very literal Black: which means cherry fabulousness begins it Red: cherries are quite fabulous Black: and red Red: it's funny how they repel water Black: shiny, little and round Red: i've never seen a cherry tree Black: yes they ask it to bead up and make a little clear cherry on top of the red cherry cherry Black: i think i have - i've picked a cherry or two Red: good, that proves they really exist Black: from the imagination to our world of measures Red: speaking of measures, what's up with our nation's refusal to go metric Black: now i always feel like a dr. phil or something when we bring up a book in a painting Black: but that sure sounded like a good one Black: we're silly Red: haha does dr.phil mention books? Black: yes i hear he does Red: his son actually wrote a book Black: yes that's the one Red: ahhh Black: the ultimate weight solution for teens by jay mcgraw Red: i wonder what he thinks the solution is Black: $13.57 on amazon Black: not sure but wow - 32% off Red: hahaha Black: no alright let's get back to it Black: it might be eating lots of summer cherries? Red: is it cherry season yet? Black: ok so this little cherry painting about summer and cherries and the environment is what would you say? Red: well, it reminds me of the randomness of a half empty carton of eggs Black: yes - our title Black: very alice in wonderland of us tonight Black: we're full circle Black: the play of the imagination Red: so i don't know how i'm going to get everyone to read this book Black: well let's see - people look at paintings sometimes Red: i guess i could start a campaign, maybe on craigslist Black: there might be someone looking at this Black: yes and craigslist too Red: that's good, that's 2 mediums right there Red: now i just need to conquer... 7 more Black: we'll do it like this. People might like to enjoy this book because ________________ Black: and then we can just fill in the blanks later Black: we could write stuff like 'because the imagination is fun' Red: i think people might enjoy this book because it tears down the walls of normalcy Black: yes and that Red: it's easy to become trapped in mundane details and forget the underlying structures of things Black: just imagine- a big purple chicken skateboarding Red: somehow i see him wearing kneepads Black: cherry stained? Red: hopefully not, i think chickens like their kneepads clean
